Fun Facts About Me

Fun Facts About Me

Favorite Authors: Judith McNaught and Jackie Collins.  Judith McNaught has the ability to create emotionally gut-wrenching romances that touch the heart and are always unforgettable.  Jackie Collins writes fun novels with serious undertones and doesn't care what people think of her blunt, racy, and sometimes exposing style.  I wish I could write like both of them do.

Favorite Book of All-Time: Paradise by Judith McNaught.  It has one of the most moving storylines ever concocted.  You laugh and you cry, sometimes on the same page.  That alone makes it the perfect romance novel.  Plus, the hero is the sexiest guy ever.  I highly recommend it

Favorite Movies: Tequila Sunrise with Mel Gibson, Michelle Pfeiffer, and Kurt Russell.  I just love it.  There's something steamy and thrilling about it.  I also love About Last Night...  Yes, the '80s movie with Rob Lowe and Demi Moore.  It has such a unique plot and covers something most romances don't: the one-night stands that become more.  Plus, it's hilarious and totally relatable.  I quote it all the time.  My second favorite is yet another '80s movie, Against All Odds.  I cry at the end every time.  Not a conventional romance, but a great one nonetheless.

Favorite TV Shows: Love, love, love White Collar and am devastated that it's over.  It's fun, and it relies on snappy dialogue rather than violence.  Other than that, I watch Once Upon a Time.  I also love Miami Vice and Family Ties.  To me, the '80s never died.

Favorite Music: Anything '70's or '80's, but I"m a huge Fleetwood Mac fan.  Their music is just so heartfelt and makes you do a lot of thinking.  It's the same way with the Eagles.  Plus, Stevie Nicks and Don Henley are amazing.   I have to admit, my iPod is pretty eclectic, though.  Most genres make an appearance somewhere.

My Addiction: I'm obsessed with Henry Cavill.  There is just something absolutely adorable about him.  Besides being extremely good-looking, he's very humble and has a great personality.  Maybe that's the reason some characters might bear a resemblance to him.  I also love his celebrity twin, Matt Bomer (yes, I know, I have a type).  He just has the ability to make any character likable.  He's going to be a much bigger star once his acting chops are properly recognized.

Why I Love to Write: It's a world I can create on my own.  I can decide who does what and who ends up with who.  It's just a ton of fun to create people and decide their destinies.
